Audrey Abbe is an award-winning studio artist. Born and raised in Ventura, CA, Ms. Abbe's art journey began at age 4 under the teachings of artist Maribel Hernández from the Bell Arts Factory. Inspired by Mexican Folk artistry of Hernández’s paintings and ceramics, the illustrations of children’s book author Eric Carle, and visual fashion photography from local artist Kathy Cruts, Ms. Abbe has since then found her own vibrant and whimsical style, creating emotional narrative pieces focusing on psychological aspects of the human condition in correlation to nature. As a true Renaissance woman, Ms. Abbe's art interests range from 2D art such as Magazine Collages and Acrylic Painting to 3D art such as Ceramics and Sculpture. Her art has been featured at the 2025 Studio Channel Islands "Emergence" exhibition, and awarded at the Museum of Ventura & the 2023-2024 Ventura Juried Youth Art Expo. On April 2025, Ms. Abbe collaborated with the Bell Arts Factory and curated her first solo art exhibition "Within my Flow", a exhibition combining fine arts with the psychology theme of "Flow State". In Spring 2025, Ms. Abbe will earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts and Psychology from CSU Channel Islands. In the future she hopes to be an Art Therapist mentoring adolescents and young adults.
